OUR VISION
Since the presence of blockchain, both the cryptographic and infiltration money markets have shown an overwhelming development. Its development has been dynamic to the point where specific issues related without difficulty, security and utilization remain uncertain. From VName we believe that by limiting human error in directing exchanges:
(I) this will expand the infiltration of digital currency;
(II) there will be a decrease in the lower capabilities obtained from the wrong exchanges performed;
(III) enhancement of value-based security by having a confirmation framework;
(IV) the client will feel better doing the exchange.
OUR GOAL
Create mechanisms that enable transactions to be easier, faster, and more secure without compromising user privacy and information. Become a universal access point to validate any blockchain address.
WHAT IS VNAME ALL ABOUT?
VName works by getting rid of client nicknames, and in addition, blockchain stages where their address has a place with, and if the moniker is checked, in the mapping obtained by their address. It works in a way with the goal that you can only know someone's nickname in that you have their address, too, not in a different way.
The closest reference to a nicknamed address is a nulled address hash, which is exclusively used to check the address on the moniker from outside the mapping, and can not be returned to the address at all. This is expected in order for VName to be used to confirm that the address belongs to someone, but anticipates having the ability to redirect the address request by making use of the nickname.
HOW TO WORK VNAME?
In simple words, VName works by matching a user blockchain address with a nickname. A user enters the destination address of the transaction and our helper script identifies this input and automatically shows the appropriate nickname. Users can, without any modification of how they transact currently, quickly verify that the intended recipient of the transaction is indeed intended. This image is just a simple demonstration of how VName will integrate with existing sites (eg stocks, wallets). Information and presentation may vary.
VNAME WITHDREW.png
When entering an address, the VName script will automatically detect its blockchain type and what the nickname matches.Displays this information plain text with the option to extend it for more information. This will work for every site that imports our JavaScript. The browser extension is working, which will remove the need for certain sites that import our vname.js and will automatically detect any addresses on the sites visited and display related information. The information will contain: 1.Nickname for that address.
  1. If this nickname is verified or not
  2. The address itself.
  3. Optional description for this address
Other information may be added in the near future.
